Hi,
I noticed that no matter what email I put (I tried Gmail and some other domains) the submission alerts are not sent there (I'm not talking about the email address field in the submission form, but the admin email in the form maker manager page. Any help?

First of all please make sure the email is not filtered to the spam or junk email folder.
Try using another email address.

Here are some steps you can take:
1.Please make sure the email messages are not filtered to your spam or junk mail folders
2.Try using a different email address
Wordpress uses PHP mail. Probably your hosting does not have sendmail enabled.
Please contact your hosting provider or use SMTP, which should always work.
For example this plugin. wordpress.org/extend/plugins/configure-smtp/ .
In this case you have to know your SMTP parameters.
Setting an external SMTP server, such as GMail should work. But GMail requires authentication.

Mailer: smtp
SMTP Authentication: yes
SMTP Security: SSL
SMTP Port: 465
SMTP Username: your gmail full address
SMTP Password: your gmail password
SMTP Host: smtp.gmail.com

I am having the same problem and have tried gmails and different server addresses. Can't see that everybody's server setting can be wrong. PLEASE ADVISE urgently.
