Calendar Not Mobile/Tablet responsive
Philip Pugh created the topic: Calendar Not Mobile/Tablet responsive
Hi, hope you can help.
I use WP 3.9.2 on my site.
This weekend I have installed Spider Calendar version 2.5.9.
The calendar view on my Desktop PC is fine, width of theme set at 900px.
However, when site/calendar is viewed on both i-pad and android small tablet, the calendar does not "shrink" to the available window size, ie it is not being responsive. The view sticks out to the right hand side of the window.
Is there a setting somewhere that maybe I have not seen?
Please help A.S.A.P
Phil

Dear Philip,
Could you please send us the link, where you have your calendar placed? Also please tell us the model of the device, on which you see the issue.
Thank you.

Hi,
Good news. I have just found the solution. In the theme customisation page there is the box that allows you to set the display width to your prefered width, say 900px. This is the problem because it then trys to display this width on all devices.
If however you set this field to "auto", the calendar automatically adjusts its width to the viewing device.
I now want to know how to set it to 10px smaller than auto on each side, ie to give it a bit of a margin.
Keep up the good work, Phil

Dear Philip,
There is no padding or margin option by default to achieve this. However, could you please post the link to the calendar? We will suggest a CSS code.
Thank you.

Dear Philip,
Unfortunately Spider Calendar is not taking the margin we try to add. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you.
