Allow access to user role "editor"

Andrew created the topic: Allow access to user role "editor"

Is there an easy code hack to allow user role "editor" access to the Calendar tab on the Wordpress back-end?

I did install and try the Advanced Access Manager plugin, but was unable to find any solution.

Please advise. Thank you.

Not even using the Advanced Access Manager plugin?

This doesn't make sense to me—that a site editor can't edit calendar events. I only give administrator access to webmasters since administrator access allows a person to mess with plugins, widgets, updates, etc. and can cause quite a mess.

Dear Andrew,

It may work with Advanced Access Manager plugin but you should contact their support and ask your questions to them.

Hi, Did you find/ is there a solution for this?
It does seem crazy that 'Editors' can't access!
It's the only thing holding me back from purchasing the calendar.

Ok, Thanks.
That seems to work (with the free version) Will I have to edit those files again with the full version?

Hi. I purchased the full version and customised a theme without problem. However after making the edits mentioned above to allow an editor to admin I can no longer access theme editor and the banner saying 'get the full version' has appeared.

Sorry, It's ok I'd uploaded the wrong copy
