Image in Events are showing up as code

Issler created the topic: Image in Events are showing up as code

I am getting very close to publishing my new web site, but the calendar is slowing me down. Today I found that the images I inserted into the events (using Add Media and inserting a .jpg) are showing up as code, not photos.

Please help! Thanks.

Dear Issler,

Most probably you added this html to Visual editor of the event. You need to add it to text editor. If this don't help please contact us to [email protected] and let us to take a look at the issue. Please mention the full link to your forum post in your e-mail.Also please include temporary admin credentials to your website in the mail.

Thank you

I had a similar problem and they needed an admin login to fix it. They wouldn't tell me what they did to fix it though so I ended up comparing the before and after code. I found these changes in the calendar_functions.php file

Line 242 They changed to this:

$description = preg_replace('#<script(.*?)>(.*?)</script>#is', '', stripslashes($_POST["description"]));

Line 297 They changed to this:

$description = preg_replace('#<script(.*?)>(.*?)</script>#is', '', stripslashes($_POST["description"]));

Line 503 They changed to this:

$category = ((isset($_POST)) ? esc_sql(esc_html(stripslashes($_POST))) : '');

Line 504 They Changed to this:

$text_for_date = preg_replace('#<script(.*?)>(.*?)</script>#is', '', stripslashes($_POST["text_for_date"]));
