Form Maker Module Problem

I have a problem with the Form maker light module..

With this code i add the module position in the right sidebar of my site:

                    $document   = &JFactory::getDocument();
                    $renderer   = $document->loadRenderer('module');

                    $contents = '';
                    foreach (JModuleHelper::getModules($position) as $mod)  {  
                        $contents .= $renderer->render($mod, $params);   
                    }
                    
                    echo $contents; 
                    echo "</div>";
                ?>

form appears normal but when i press the submit button nothing happens

Any thoughts on what goes wrong?
