MySQL Mapping

Barry created the topic: MySQL Mapping

Hi

I have created a form to allow my user to subscribe to AcyMailing
The SQL INSERT is fine & works
One Field I need is the clients IP Address
I can see you have this from your submissions table, can it be passed to me in MySQL Mapping as '{ip}' just as the fields are passed like '{5}' etc. ?

Also, a duplicate entry error is reported but in an UGLY way. Can this error be caught and displayed in a friendlier way ?

Thanks

Support replied the topic: MySQL Mapping

Dear Barry,

You can add a hidden field with empty value to your form. Then from "Form options/javascript" section you can write a script that puts clients ip into that hidden field. After that you can use that ip field in SQL mapping. If you need our assistance in this you can write to [email protected]
Please mention the full link to your forum post in your e-mail.

Thank you.

Best regards,
