I had the same issue...

just fixed it by wrapping the shortcode in the code tag

ex: <code>[Form id="14"]</code>

Same issue - 20+ forms so wrapping code around it is not an option.

Estimated time to update?

Thanks for the suggestion but this did not fix my forms.

Is it a plugin compatibility issue, perhaps? I'm having the same problem. The forms work when I add <code> tags, but it still looks really wonky.

I stand corrected. I was in the 'visual' edit mode. This fix works ok in the HTML edit mode.

Luckily I had someone email right after I updated WP to let me know the form wasn't working. The <code> fix works but the formatting is off.

Updated the plugin that is supposed to be for WP 4.01... but it doesn't work.

Just adding my name to the list of forms not working sites.

The <code> wrap worked for Chrome, but IE looks like crap. :side:

So an update is warranted. Thanks!

No response from the author...?? Lead-time for a response is not very comforting. Let's get this issue figured out and rectified ASAP.

I just downloaded and install Version: 2.7.20.
It did not resolve the problem.
If I remove <code></code> my page shows [Form ] shortcode instead of form itself.
And formatting in IE is incorrect with <code></code> workaround.

And by the way. There was now "update" notification in plugin section of Wordpress for Form Maker.
I downloaded Version: 2.7.20, deleted previous version, than installed Version: 2.7.20.

Any comments?
How should I make correct update? Can you provide detailed instructions?

Thank you. I do not show this update has been pushed to my WP dashboard. I downloaded and tried to install the plugin zip folder into WP and it failed as WP stated folder already existed. Maybe this is an obvious question but do I need to delete the existing plug-in first prior to installing the new update? Will I lose my existing forms if I do so? Or should I wait until the update has been pushed to my wordpress site?
